Universal was dominated by Hans J. Salter and his co-composers (Dessau, Charles Prevein, etc.); RKO and Val Lewton by Roy Webb; Hammer by James Bernard; AIP by Les Baxter and Ronald Stein; Italy has had Morricone, Nicolai, Lavagnino; Spanish horror had Ángel Arteaga and Antón García Abril. And let's not forget the efforts of Herrmann, Waxman, Steiner, Rosenman, Schifrin, Goldsmith (Fromthe top of my head, I can't recall Friedhofer doing music for a horror movie). Any favourites?
